§ 02 — CAREER / TENURE

Where the experience comes from

Each tenure shaped a different layer of what we now call infrastructure. The combination is the practice.

§ 03 — DOCTRINE / POV

Where we stand

Positions held publicly. Argued in print, in client engagements, and in the room.

ON VENDORS
Independent counsel is structurally cheaper than a free vendor briefing — once the implementation invoice arrives.
ON AI INFRASTRUCTURE
Most enterprise networks aren’t ready for AI workloads. Bandwidth isn’t the issue; topology, lossless behavior, and east-west fabric are.
ON OPERATIONS
If your network team still operates by CLI runbook, the AI mandate will outpace them inside 18 months.
ON LOCK-IN
Multi-year OEM agreements are sold on price stability and bought as flexibility loss. Both sides know which side wins.
ON DECISION-MAKING
Boards and executive sponsors approve infrastructure plans they cannot fully evaluate. That gap is where the cost of a wrong decision lives.
§ 04 — OPERATING / PRINCIPLES

How we operate

Four principles that shape every engagement.

Vendor-neutral

No reseller agreements, referral fees, or platform partnerships. The recommendation is not the product of an incentive.

Outcome-driven

Engagements end in a written deliverable that lets you act — or walk away — without further dependency on us.

Strategic and practical

Every recommendation has to operate at 9 a.m. on a Tuesday with the team you actually have. Strategy that ignores operability is theater.

Trusted advisors

If the engagement isn’t the right fit, we say so and point you somewhere better. The relationship outlasts any one piece of work.

Decisions you can’t afford to get wrong deserve counsel that isn’t selling you something.
